    3. Hello Beverly. I have James WILHOIT married to Peggy BAKER, but there is some question as to the validity of this information. Here's the note I have: "James' marriages to Peggy BAKER and Susan CATES are questionable. The only evidence for these two marriages came from Marge WILHITE, publisher of the Wilhite-Wilhoit Connexions." If you have documentation on the marriage to Peggy BAKER, or to Susan CATES, I would love to have it. The marriage that IS verified is to Comfort STANSBURY. Married 22Dec1818. If you have sources for the marriage to Peggy BAKER, this will fill in a lot of blanks for researchers of this line. I have no children for Adam and Peggy BAKER or Susan CATES. I have two for marrige to Comfort STANSBURY: Levina, b.1816, and John M., b.1819. If you have any children from marriage to Peggy BAKER, would like to have the data. James' parents were Adam WILHOIT and Missy BALEY (BATEY?). Have no dates or places on birth, marriage, or death for either. James' siblings were: Ezekiel, b.1780 John, b.1782 Nancy, b.1784 Barbara, no dates Ava, no dates Elizabeth, no dates It is not certain that the last 3 female children were actually daughters of Adam and Missy. Maybe someone out there has some documentation that will clear this up once and for all. Adam's parents were Conrad Reuben WILHITE, Sr., and Elizabeth BROYLES. (She is an umpteenth great-aunt of mine.) Conrad's father was Tobias, born about 1713 in Siegen, GER. Elizabeth's father was Hans Jacob BROYLES, son of the immigrant John BROYLES (Johannes BREYHEL). Looks like you and I are cousins at least two ways. Probably find more BROYLES/WILHITE connections if we searched hard enough. SgtGeorge George W.
