Sorry that I can't help, but I have very little information on the Wilhites of my family. Allie (maiden name unknown) married Joel (or Joseph) Wilhite sometime in Missouri sometime before the Civil War. They probably had three children (at least) Mary Elender (known), Joseph L. (Lester ?), and Joel - Boone Co. MO, around Rocheport and Columbia. Mary Elender married Thomas John Shoush in Centralia, MO about 1884. I have pictures of Allie and Joel, and less (their grandson?), and three letters from Allie to Mary Elender Shoush (1902). Chester "Chet" Buchanan
