Nancy made application for pension on her son Volney Wilhite due to the fact her husband was unable to work. She stated that her residence in 1864 was Bath Co. Ky. Pealed Oak P. O. and she residee in Bath Co. from 1864 until 1879 when she moved to Menifee Co. Ky. George Wilhite stated in his pension application 25 june 1887 he was 65 years old and a resident of Bath Co. Ky. He married Nancy Ballard 8th day Jan 1847 Montgomery Co. Ky. In june 4th 1889 Nancy Wilhite applied for widowed pension. George had died 17th day May 1889. Her residence was Cornwell City County of Menifee Co. Ky. Nancy may belong to the family of John & Charity Bruce Ballard. Thanks to Patsy and Lynne for their help with this family.
