Hi, I'm not sure I am going about this the correct way, but will give it a try. I have a John Wilhoit/Wilhite born abt 1745 died 1837 in Owen Co. Ky. this John was in the Rev War:, Virginia troops. He was the son of Matthias and Mary Ballenger Wilhoit/Wilhite, he married Lucy Stapp (b. abt. 1742) abt. 1762 in Orange Co. Va. I don't have any of their children. I don't have documentation of this info as it was given to me by other researchers, but maybe it would be a starting place. My line is Elias Wilhoit/Wilhite son of Matthias and Mary Ballenger Wilhoit. Caralyn
