Helen Mildred Fillers Holt Died: 11-21-2001 Helen Mildred Fillers Holt, 78, of the Debusk community, died Wednesday morning at her home after a brief illness. A native of Greene County, Mrs. Holt was a homemaker and the widow of Edgar Burl Holt. She had watched a number of children grow up during her 60 years while babysitting in her home. Mrs. Holt was a member of Amity Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law: Joyce Bowers, Jewell "Cookie" and Billy Seaton, and Gayle Holt; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Betty Holt and Michael and Connie Holt; grandchildren and special grandchildren-in-law: Marsha and Eddie Peters, Vickie and Anthony Fox, Jennifer and Dee Janes, Jason and Sharon Seaton, Ricky and Linda Fillers, Michelle and Lee Shelton, Doug and Cindy Fillers, David Fillers, Jeff Holt, Charles and Kelly Holt, Pamela Holt, Brian Holt, Nicholas Holt, and Cody Neas; great-grandchildren and a special great-grandson-in-law: Shanna and Robby Sharp, Maryam Jeddy, Brandon Janes, Ashley Fillers, Brittany Burgner, Hanna Holt, Zachary Holt, Austin Fillers, Chad Yates, Kevin Yates, Brittany Mestil, and Jason Mestil; a great-great-grandchild: Hank Sharp; two sisters: Alma Fillers and Carolyn Cutshaw; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Ken and Peggy Fillers, Ford and Annie Fillers, and John and Jeraldine Fillers; three sisters-in-law: Ruby Fillers, Jessie Fillers, and Maude Fillers; and a brother-in-law: Eugene Wells. Fillers, s/o John Sparks Fillers, Sr. and Leuticia Lativa "Lettie" Holt, s/o Douglas Hale Fillers and Susan Bird, d/o Matthais Bird and Margaret "Peggy" Wilhoit, d/o *Solomon Wilhoit and his second wife, *Katherine Catrina "Caty" McGee, s/o *Conrad Reuben Wilhoit and *Elizabeth Broyles...] She was a daughter of the late Hubert J. and Sarah Wilhoit Fillers and was preceded in death by a son: Edgar Holt Jr.; a granddaughter: Kimberly Dawn Bowers; a grandson: Steven Burl Seaton; two great-grandchildren: Brooke LaShae Fillers and Tyler Lee Holt; two sisters: Ruth Morrison and Charlsie Fillers; and four brothers: Junior Fillers, Robert Fillers, Foster Fillers, and Jasper Fillers. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Sam Smith, the Rev. Sammy Cutshaw, and the Rev. James Bowers will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 Saturday morning to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for a graveside service at 11 o'clock.
