I was looking at the information about the Wilhite family in the Family Tree done by Thelma Wisecarver on Ancestry.com. I am very interested to learn about the first wife of Starnes Wilhite. In your information it gives her name as Lucretia. My great grandmother is Jane A. Wilhite, daughter of Starnes Wilhite, b. 17 Jul 1834 in Campbell Co., TN. She married William C. Boydstun in Hamilton Co., TN on 15 Mar 1855. Until I read your information, I thought her mother was Catherine Carter. I have since done some more searching and find that it couldn't have been Catherine Carter. Where did you learn about Lucretia? Do y ou have more information about her than just her name?
