Lawrence Madison Wilhoit Died: 10-29-2001 Lawrence Madison Wilhoit, 94, of the Erwin Highway, died Monday evening at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Mr. Wilhoit was a farmer and retired as a truck driver from East Tennessee and Western North Carolina (E.T.W.N.C). He was an active and charter member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, where he attended as long as his health permitted. Survivors include his wife of 72 years: Madge Gray Wilhoit; several nieces and nephews; and a number of friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 2 o'clock in the funeral home chapel with interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Dr. Joseph T. Miller will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dale Armstrong, Scott Jaynes, Cecil Burgner, Denver Shaw, Howard Shaw and E.C. "Jack" Waddell.

    3. I had already looked it up. His parents were Horace M. Wilhoit and Maude N. Odell. He had brothers Hebert md. Eula Mulhill and Maynard. I don't have any of the families.
