Lorene, I had the same problem. I'm going to send what they told me to do and it worked for me. <<If you are not being recognized properly when logged in to the Ancestry.com site you will want to log out and then log back in. To log out, simply click on the Log Out link at the top of the homepage (next to the My Account link). To login, do the following: 1. Click on the Login link at the top of the Ancestry.com website 2. Fill in both your username and password in their separate fields 3. Click on the Login button after the appropriate username and password have been entered 4. You will then be taken back to the previous page you were on and will be able to begin your searching>> Hope this works for you.
