    3. 1844-1933 Charles Wilhite Obituary Charles H. Wilhite was born September 24, 1844, and passed away at his home in Paris Mo. July 28, 1933, aged 88 years, 10 months and four days. His wife preceded him in death January 28, 1888. He leaves to mourn his death nine children, six daughters and three sons, namely Mrs. George Speer Edmond Oklahoma, Mrs. W. F. Daniels, Springfield Ill., Mrs. Henry Daniels, Tallula Ill, Mrs. Luther Noel, Denver Colo. Miss Margaret Wilhite, Paris, Mo., Mrs. Flora E. Maurer, Beardstown, Mr. W. G. Wilhite Moberly Mo., C.B. Wilhite, Hampton Iowa, Roy Wilhite Paris, Mo.; twenty five grandchildren; two brothers George and Lon and one sister, Mrs. Jones. All of Mr. Wilhite's children were at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. Luther Noel, of Denver, Colo., who was unable to attend on account of ill- health. The passing away of Mr. Wilhite was the first death in the immediate family since the death of his wife forty-five years ago. He was a resident of Paris, Mo., for some thirty years. For the last several years he received the kind and loving care of his daughter, Margaret, who together with another daughter, Mrs. W. F. Daniels and sons, Sam and Roy, were at his bedside w! hen he passed away. Funeral services were in charge of C. E. Newton of the Paris Baptist church Saturday, July 29, at 8 o'clock at the home. He was buried beside his wife in the Greenwood cemetery at Tallula. Pallbearers were his six grandsons Burton and Harold Maurer, Howard Byron and Dewey Daniels, and Chester Wilhite. Wilhite, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Wilhite and daughter Hampton, Iowa. Mrs Flora Maurer and daughter, Mary Alice, and son Burton of Beardstown; Mrs. Lizzie R. Stout and Mrs. Ida C.
