For the past few days, MyFamily/Ancestry/Rootsweb has been undergoing some hardware and software upgrades and modifications. This has caused some web pages to not work properly, or to not work at all. We are assured that these problems will be solved soon. In the meantime, if you experience difficulties reaching any of our web sites, particularly the Message Boards pages, it is caused by the servers at MyFamily/Ancestry/Rootsweb, and has nothing to do with your own systems or connections. One of the problems you may experience when you go to John Blankenbaker's "Germany and Austria Photo Page" is that you may not see an index at the bottom showing all the available individual village/town pages of photos. You may also notice small problems with web page elements that work with CGI, such as not seeing "This Page was Last Modified (Date & Time)", and maybe a few more such errors. And, it is impossible to upload any new web pages, or upload any changes to existing pages. Therefore, John's latest "Germanna Notes" haven't been posted, nor have the latest pages for his and Eleanor's photos from the May, 2002 trip to Germany and Austria. As soon as the server problems are corrected, I will immediately upload all pending new pages and modifications. I have ready Notes Nr. 1406 through 1409, and some changes to the Photos pages, specifically for Lambsheim and Neuenbürg. Until then, please be patient.
