Matthew M. WILHITE was my 3X g. grandfather who m 1) Rachel HOLLY; 2) Nancy H. (BURNS) MOSS, a widow who had one child at the time, a daughter, Rennie MOSS. Matthew came to Texas and bought land in Wylie, Collins Co. 24 Nov 1854 then they moved to Van Zandt Co.1856, and that is where Nancy is buried, died 1877. My records show she was born in TN 1809. They were in Mississippi (Tippah Co.) first before coming to TX.because that is where John Hardin WILHITE was born 13 Mar 1839. Shirley Gelineau
