Denton, 27, and wife Margaret, 25. John b. 1822 TN is probably a son of Abraham Denton & Nancy Shrewsbury Allen. Margaret is probably O'Dell.Their children are: Wm 6; Nancy 5; Mgt 3; Abraham 2; Eliz. 1 About 1859: A. J. Denton, Sr. married Kesarah Rains...aka Kisiah, Kisria...b. 21 May 1842 Cocke Co TN and d. 26 Nov 1913. Buried Jones Chapel Cemetery, Sevier Co., TN .She was 25 years his junior and 2 yrs younger than her father. In 1858 the name "Kesiah" Raines was added to the membership of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
