Boyd Edwin (Ed) Fellers Died: 06-30-2002 Boyd Edwin "Ed" Fellers, 81, of the South Central community, died Sunday at Takoma Adventist Hospital. [Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee] Mr. Fellers was a retired barber from the Veterans Administration at Mountain Home, which is now James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He had operated his own barber shop at South Central for a number of years. Mr. Fellers was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, and attended as long as his health permitted. Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Anna Lee Jennings Fellers; two brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law: Aud Lee and Pat Jennings and Almeda Fellers, all of Chuckey, Barbara Hogue of Knoxville, Betty Jennings of Greeneville, and Ettie and Rex Carter and Geneva Painter, all of Chuckey; several nieces and nephews: Bobbie and Alice Hensley and Mike and Norma Painter, all of Chuckey, Carolyn and Floyd Malone of Athens, Larry Hensley of Florida, Tommy and Mary Hensley of Chuckey, Sue Ragan of Erwin, Ronald Jennings and Glen Jennings, both of Chuckey, David Jennings of Kingsport, Gene and Alonda Jennings of Ohio, Debbie Hensley of Greeneville, Tim and Tara Fellers of Wartrace, Sarah and Buddy Roberts of Greeneville, Mae Swanner and Janice Young, both of Knoxville, Billy and Kathy Fellers of Chuckey, and Tammy and Ronnie Maye of Bristol; and several special great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a son of the late Luda and Bertie Broyles Fellers and was preceded in death by three brothers: Calvin Fellers, James Fellers, and Lawrence Fellers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home and other times at the home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Gary Norton and the Rev. Arthur Renfro will officiate. Interment will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hensley, Tom Spear, Luke Buchanan, Walter Armstrong, Virgil Tarlton, Michael Painter, Allen Bailey and Kyle Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry B. Broyles, Tom Grindstaff, Roy Hensley, Gaylord Hyder, Jerry K.
