Hello again everyone of the Wilcox listserve, I am taking part in a scavenger hunt for another piece of information... I believe Isaac Wilcoxson(born 1780 in KY, died in 1847, son of David and Kezia), probably married Sina (maiden name possibly Wood, born in NC in about 1793, died in AR). I have found that there were many Woods and quite a few Wilcoxsons in the Wilkes County NC area around 1750. I am just wondering if anyone has a record of a Wood marrying a Wilcoxson in either NC, KY, or TN. I know it may sound as if I'm searching for needles in a bookstack, and that is very close to the truth. I need to verify the marriage of Isaac to Sina, in order to verify that Samuel Willcoxon (born in TN on July 30 1817, died 1887 Marble Falls, Boone County, AR) was indeed there son.
