WILCOX, Marilyn (MEYERS); 74; Brookfield WI; Quad-City Times (IA); 1996-12-20 SILVIS, Ill.- Services for Marilyn Wilcox, 74, of Waukesha, Wis., formerly of Silvis, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Wilcox died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, at Franciscan Woods, Brookfield, Wis. She operated Marilyn's Beauty Shop, Silvis, for 37 years, retiring in 1980, and then taught in beauty schools in Fort Wayne, Ind., Chicago, and Milwaukee. Marilyn Meyers was born July 30, 1922, in Davenport. She married George Wilcox in 1943 in Silvis. He died in 1971. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
