I am looking for information on Isiah N. Wilcox. I requested a copy of my great grandmother's death certificate (Hanna Elgirtha( Wilcox) Sabine) from New York State. Isiah is listed as her father and Amanda Darrow as his wife. He is listed as being born in Newville, Herkimer County, NY. In my grandmother, Lena M. (Sabine) Sternberg's autograph book which he signed, it said he was born on March 15,1805 in Danube, Herkimer County NY. I have him dying on June 3, 1884 in Eaton, Madison County, NY. I also requested from NY State a copy of his death certificate, but I got back the statement that "No Record Certification". I have so much info that he exists but I can't authenticate it. He is my link to the Mayflower. I also have nonauthenticated info that his father was Nathan Wilcox, who I have cemetery info on that he is buried in Herkimer County. Nathan's wife was Anna Lewis who was also buried in Herkimer County. Can anyone help? Thank you ([email protected])
