I have three lines of Wilcox ancestors. I will treat each in separate messages. This is the second. 1. William Willcoxen b. 1601 or 2 in Beggin Derbyshire England, m. Margaret Birdseye in England, immigrated from St. Albans, Hertfordshire on the Planter 1635, d. May 1652. Margaret was b. in 1611/12, after William's death m. William Hayden lived in Windsor CT later Killingsworth CT d. in 1655 or 1673. Their children were John, Joseph, Timothy, Samuel, Elizabeth, Hannah, Obadiah, Sarah, Phebe, and Johanna. 2. Timothy Willcoxen b. 1638 in Concord MA, m. Johanna Birdseye 28 Dec 1664 in Stratford CT d. 13 Jan 1713. Johanna was b. 18 Nov 1642 in Stratford CT d. Aug. 1713. Both deaths in Stratford. Their children were Johanna, Phebe, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ruth, Rebecca, Hannah. Both Phebe and Ruth are my ancestors through different lines. 3. Phebe Willcoxen was b. 9 Aug 1669 m. in 1688 Thomas Beach d. at Wallingford CT 30 Apr 1758. The surnames of my line from Phebe are: Beach, Mix, Fleming, Crofutt, Bishop. 3. Ruth Willcoxen b. 31 Aug 1677 m. Robert Walker 1 Aug 1695 d. aft. 1743. The surnames of my line from Ruth are: Walker, Hawley, Gregory, Crofutt, Bishop. Bob Bishop in Scotch Plains NJ
