Hi Phil I have a George Wilcoxson (various spellings) who died in Rowan Co. in Sep 1785. I don't have any information on his children, but it sounds as though your George may have been his son. The George I have married Elizabeth Hall. He was born about 1730 and was the son of George Wilcoxson and Elizabeth Powell. I have another George, who was the son of John WilCOxson and Sarah Boone and who married Elizabeth Beam, but this branch of the Wilcoxsons doesn't appear to have been in Rowan Co.
