Hi, I just discovered the Ancestry Global Search site: http://www.ancestry.com This is something new on the site that I've subscribed too for several months. If you type in a name (be specific) it will return results indicating whether or not there are any land records available. The site wants you to pay to search their records. However, if you find a land record, you can then go to the new site from the Bureau of Land Management http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ and search their records for free. I searched this site Sunday and found records of my ancestor in a state we didn't know he was in. Last night, I searched the Ancestry site and found the same records. In one search on the Ancestry site, I received the results from all the states at once, rather than searching each state individually.
