I am really interested in the last item you have noted as Listing of other names in Oneida, especially Levi WILCOX, Jennie WILCOX and Benjamin WILCOX. My great great grandfather Levi WILCOX' parents were supposedly from NY according to a census I found. I cannot find anything past Levi himself, no parents, no siblings. He, himself,married in Illinois to Elizabeth ALKIRE and they did amongst their 12 children have a George Benjamin and a Jennie and felt that by checking this out might be just that lead I needed. Also how in the world is Asahel pronounced. I have seen it many a time but never gathered courage to ask how it is pronounced. My mother, a great granddaughter of Levi WILCOX, was named Isal.
