It has been awhile since I have posted to the list. My GGrandfather was HIRAM WILCOX born March 26, 1828 in Blount Co. Tennessee I do not know his parents. Hiram married July 8, 1828 in Washington Co. Tennessee At some point they moved to Cherokee Co. Alabama and died there. Their children were James A. Wilcox----Ivan H. Wilcox--George W. Wilcox-- Ann Eliza Wilcox b 1844 married to James Carlisle---William L. Wilcox--- Able Taylor Wilcox and Sarah Jane Wilcox born feb 18, 1831 married in 1852 to John D.
