Listed are spellings according to the years of the censuses: 1800: Woolcott (PA) also Wilcocks; Wilcox 1810: Woolcutt (KY) 1820: Woolcutt (KY) 1830: Wilcot; Wolcot; Wilcox; Woolcott; Woolcut 1840: Same 1850: Same 1860: Same 1870: Same 1880: Same 1890: Willkett; Wilkit; Wilket; Willket (OK) Willcutt; Wilcut, & Willkett (AR) 1900: Same 1910: Same to 1998 My grandmother is a Wilkett, I haven't figured when that changed, but assume around 1900.
