Wilcox, 82, of 512 Buffalo St., died July 22, 1997, at home after a brief illness. A native of Port Byron, Mrs. Wilcox had resided in Fulton most of her life. She had owned and operated Elona Wilcox Beauty Shop in Fulton for more than 46 years. She was the widow of Harold L. Perau Sr. and John Sidney Wilcox. Surviving are a son, Harold L. Perau Jr. of Fulton; two daughters, Janet C. Dann of Fulton and Kathryn J. Wilcox of Los Angeles; a sister, Thelma D. Ranieri of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. The Rev. Deborah O'Connor-Slater will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to A.L.
