Hi, I am new to this list and am hoping a distant relative can help me with my problem. I have traced my grandmothers's relatives (Wilcox) through original records in Westport, MA to a Seabury Wilcox b. 27 Sept 1801. Seabury was the son of Samuel Wilcox, Jr. and Matilda Brightman of Dartmouth, MA (close by) . I have linked , though name similarities, this Samuel, Jr. with Samuel Wilcox b. 30 Sept 1739 Tivertion, RI m. 5 Feb 1761 to Comfort Seabury B. 4 July 1739, Little Compton, RI. When I complete this link I have a bulls-eye right back to Daniel Wilcox b. 4 Mar 1632/33 in Lincolnshire, Eng. married to Elizabeth Cooke b. 6 Dec 1715. Daughter of John Cooke and Sarah Warren. Does anyone have any information on the children of Samuel Wilcox and Comfort Seabury. The Wilcox book I have on this lineage (long out of print) does not include anyone without total documentation.
