Hannah was b. 7 Aug 1813, and d. 11 Nov 1866 in Harford NY. Simon Gates is the son of Harrington WILCOX and Charity RATHBURN. The family had relatives back in RI & CT, so maybe? Anybody else? Looks like Seventh Day Baptist lines to me. The Loomis and Gates groups settled around Brookfield, Madison Co, NY due to the church which also had offshoots in Leonardsville and Unadilla Forks, NY. The Rathbun line was also SDB. Oxford, Chenango Co, NY is another SDB town. According to history books, many families in these areas came from around Stonnington, CT, and another group from RI, where the SDB church originated. There was also Jerusha Almira Wilcox b 29 Feb 1864, dau of Isiah Clark Wilcox who was born in Humphrey, Cattarugus Co, NY and died in Spring Creek, PA. She married William Pierce and died 9 Aug 1941. There was Jerusha Wilcox b Dec 7, 1827 in Hartford, CT, daughter of Jeremiah Cullen Wilcox of E. Hartford, CT who died in Ohio and Julia Ann Wilder. I believe this is the line of Nathan Wilcox and Rebecca Moon. I don't know what the question was, so I don't know if this helps or not. If anything has information on Nathan Wilcox and Rebecca Moon, please contact me. Someone sent me information that this is a descendant line of Edward Wilcox. I am concerned that someone may have mixed up all those Nathans and Elnathans and this is really a Willcoxen line. Please help me verify. Sharon Patchett
