-- Sylvia, I have 2 Jerusha WILCOXes in my database, only one seems vaguely *possible.* Jerusha WILCOX, dau. of Simon Gates WILCOX and Hannah LOOMIS. I have no further info on Jerusha, but Simon was b. abt 1811, in Oxford, NY, and d. 2 Feb 1883 in Great Bend, PA. Hannah was b. 7 Aug 1813, and d. 11 Nov 1866 in Harford NY. Simon Gates is the son of Harrington WILCOX and Charity RATHBURN. The family had relatives back in RI & CT, so maybe? Anybody else? I know replying privately keeps mail-list traffic down, but it also keeps information *off* the list, as well as not helping others correct erroneous info. I, for one, need all the help I can get, just trying to keep the different WILCOX lines straight, and all the WILCOXes who married WILCOXes..... And some of my info has been handed down by a now-dead "cousin." I have *no* idea what her references were, except that everybody else has the same info, which means either we're *all* wrong, or her info is right on target.
