Hello: I show the spouse of William WILCOXSON (immigrant to Stratford, CT) as a Margaret HARVEY, and there is quite a bit of lineage attached to her. I believe that this information, which I received at least third-hand, is from the LDS Ancestral File? Many with whom I have corresponded recently show Margaret BIRDSEYE as spouse of William. There is obviously a connection between the two families, as both Timothy and Phebe WILCOXSON married a BIRSEYE. Does anyone know where this confusion arose, and whether there is any conclusive proof of either maiden name?
