Hello: I am new to this list. My WILCOCKS were living in Lustleigh, Devon during the 1700s. They were quite active with the church--Joseph WILCOCKS witnessed many weddings and his wife Ann FROST WILCOCKS was referred to as 'of the Parsonage'. She came from Pethybridge--just 'up the hill' from Lustleigh. We think Joseph was the church warden, and they lived with the vicar. We were given a delightful tour of this home by the present owner.
