You wrote I'm searching for the Wilcox's of Connecticut. I've got three immigrants, and it is believed that they are brothers. John, and William (both of Connecticut) and Edward of Rhode Island. I trace off all three lines, but am descended from William. The "brothers" were all born in England between 1595-1605. Where pray tell? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated on the lines of these three men. Genealogists have been trying to connect those lines together without much luck. Recently located church records from Lincolnshire, England shows others children of Edward, with names not discernable due to age. I'd be happy if someone could find out what happened to John, brother of Stephen and Daniel. I have a discovered the second obit from the late 1880s and early 1900s that tells the family tradition that the Wilcox line (Edward's of RI) descends from three brothers, sailors, and the sons of a vice admiral in the English navy who came here in 1635. It also says that five brothers of a latter generation served in the Revolutionary War. So, any more information on this folks?
