Cyndi, Edward's lineage is detailed in NEHGR Vol. 147, pp 188-191. Your local genealogical library should have it. If not, give me a shout & I'll get you a copy. Edward, s/o Daniel Wilcox & Isabell/Esabell ???, had 1 brother named John, who died at about 3 mos old, and no brother named William. John Willcoxson of CT is no proven relation to Edward Wilcox of RI. William of CT, is, I believe, related to John, but I may have that wrong, since it's not my line. Some of us are toying with the idea that they may be related farther back in England. Edward Wilcox is my husband's 8th-gr-grandfather. He is descended from him thru his son Stephen.
