He was the husband of Frances (Higgins) Wilcox. The son of the late Margaret (French) and Charles Wilcox, he was a psychologist in the Billerica schools before his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Palmer of Westford and Gloria Colgan of Burlington; a brother, Alton Wilcox of Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Betty Libby of Brewer and four grandchildren, Allison and Eric Colgan and Christopher and Michael Palmer.
