Dear Joy, In an earlier post, I mentioned Ephraim Wilcox of Lorain County. He was one of the first settlers of Wellington Township. The information I have is from the book "The History of Lorain County" (p. 348) and it doesn't sound as though this is the same family. Ephraim Wilcox came with a group to survey the Western Reserve from Berkshire County, MA. He was born in 1791 and died 28 Aug 1835. Another Wilcox who settled in Lorain County came from Charlestown, Montgomery County, NY was Calvin Wilcox. He went to Wellington in 1825 and then settled in LaGrange in 1827. In 1837 he married Harriet Hubbard. This account is also in "The History of Lorain County" (p. 310). Richelle
