Richard: I read your post re: Peter Wilcockse NOT being your line of Wilcocks. Which line do you descend from?? I am from the line of William & Phoebe Willcocks of Nelson County, KY. I am stuck with William - I know he was born about 1744/5 from a deposition but I have no idea of where he was born; where or when he married; I do know he was with the Virginia Continental Army from 15 Dec 1775 to 1782 but that is about all - he has no pension application or land grants for his Rev War Service.
