Maxine, I, too am researching Wilcox's in Ohio, and I saw your postings on the this list. I have traced my gr gr grandfather back to 1856 in Worthington, OH. His name is John Lewis Wilcox and I know his father's name was also John Lewis Wilcox who was married to Esther Wilson. My gr gr grandfather had two siblings, Albert C. and Nettie (who died very young). They eventually moved down to Briggsdale & Grove City in Franklin County, but I was wondering if you had come upon their names in any of your research in Ohio. John Lewis married Nellie Shade--their children are: Frank, Charles (my gr grandfather), Grace, and Ann. Sorry. The Wilcoxes I am researching did not originate in Ohio. My GGGreat Grandma was born in Ohio and moved to Michigan. She married my GGGreatGrandpa Wilcox there.
