Hi Wilcox seekers, Last month while my wife was recording info about her relatives buried in the Ontario, KS, cemetery, I found some Wilcox graves in the same cemetery. I have Wilcox forebears myself, but these do not appear to fit in my line. I photographed the headstones just in case I found some connection, and if anyone on the list recognizes the names and would like a copy of the photographs, let me know. The names on the stones are as follows: First Stone: "William T. Wilcox/1836-1920/11th Reg. Cav. Kans. Vol./Co. B Holton"; Second Stone: "Sarah M., Wife of/ W. J. Wilcox/ Died/ Aug 26, 1886/ Aged 28 YRS 8 MOS 10 DS"; Third Stone: "Martha A. Wife of/ W. J. Wilcox/ 1856-1922"; Fourth Stone: "Wilcox/ Ella R. wife of J. E. Wilcox/ Nov. 17, 1865-April 18, 1917//Ida M. dau of J.E. & Ella Wilcox/Aug. 24, 1885-Mar. 22, 1893//James E. Wilcox/Sept. 16, 1859-Mar. 26, 1912." My notes for the day also include an entry for "Genet Tem, Wife of W. J. Wilcox/Born Aug 14, 1868/Died July 16, 1890," but I have no photo for that stone. Frank Weihs, in Tacoma, WA
