I am searching for the birthplace of my great-grandfather, Whitman Wilcox, who was born in the State of New York, December 14, 1808; married Caroline Henderson Mussenden in Baton Rouge, LA, June 22, 1842; died in West Feliciana Parish, LA, July 12, 1876. Attended University of Louisiana Medical School (forerunner of Tulane University); graduated in 1837. His parents' names are also unknown as well as any siblings.
