Dorothy Wulfeck's book Wilcoxson and Allied Families Page 422 gives 5 generations for this family. Her book says he was orphaned early in life and made his home with a Dr. in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. He moved to Montgomery County, Indiana in 1828 and later to ILL. to a land Federal land grant he received. I at first confused him with my Isaac Wilcox born 1808 in Harden County, KY. He appeared on tax rolls next to my William Wilcox. They may have been related but I have never established a connection. Do you know who his father was?? and did he have an Uncle William???
