FUrther to a recent query I have a bit more information on ARLETTA MARIA WILCOX.I have found that she married Daniel SMITH when she was in her late 60's .Daniel was a widower , in his 70's and from Nova SCotia. They are supposed to have lived in Milford,N.H. ,for how long I do not know. If anyone has any information on this couple would love to hear from you as this has been a long ongoing search.     3. Chester, MT, Great Falls Tribune, 1994-6-15 Retired nurse Georgia Helene Wilcox, 77, died Friday in a Chester nursing home of natural causes. Funeral services are 1 pm Tuesday at Chester Alliance Church, with burial in the Chester Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel. Born March 26, 1920, at Missoula, she grew up there and graduated from Missoula County High School in 1938. She attended nurses training at the University of Montana and St.Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. Wilcox then moved to Alaska to work as a school murse. She later returned to Missoula to care for her fathr. Together they traveled the United States. Wilcox moved to Great Falls and worked as a dental nurse for several years, spending time exploring the Little Belt and Highwood Mountains. She moved to Chester in 1964 to work at the Liberty County Hospital and Nursing Home. She retired in 1966. Wilcox enjoyed cats and dogs, walking and bike riding and was known as a philanthropist, giving anonymous gifts to nonprofit groups and the needs. She was well-read, listened to classical and Christian music, seldom missed a school concert and enjoyed lunch at the Senior Citizen's Center.
