Myron's mother, young girl named Wilcox. The boy's father was in Indian from the Onondaga Tribe . Went to live with uncle in Town of Hannibal, Oswego Co, NY. Myron lived on a farm with Henry Wilcox, drove mules on the Oswego Canal. Worked on a ship to Detroit. He went to Otisco Lake and moved to South Onondaga . I believe this was possibly an illegitimate birth. The Onondaga Tribe is located in Nedrow, NY, on the edge of Syracuse. South Onondaga borders the Onondaga Indian Nation territory. Sharon

    2. I need you help. I am looking for any information you can provide me on NORRIS W. WILCOX. He was born in 1809 in New Hampshire, but grew to manhood and was married in Connecticut. Both his parents were born in Connecticut. He Moved west to Roscoe, Illinios and eventually to Harmoney, Wisconsin. He was in important member of the Milton Methodist church. Norris passed away on December 1, 1896 in Harmony, Wisconsin. He is buried in Roscoe, Illinios. His wife was OLIVE (CHENEY) WILCOX. She was born in Berlin, Connecticut on February 7, 1804. She died September 6, 1891 in Harmony, Wisconsin and is buried in Roscoe, Illinois. Norris and Olive had two children that I know of. They are AUGUSTUS E. WILCOX (b. May 5, 1838 and d. November 1, 1926) and WILLIAM H. WILCOX (1835). AUGUSTUS E. WILCOX married LEVANJAH AKIN in October 13, 1858. They had 10 children. (Woonsocket, RI) She was the wife of the late Alfred C. Garrigus. She was born in Hartford, Conn, on Nov. 27, 1896, the daughter of the late Howard N. and Bertha (Codding) Wilcox. She had resided in Attleboro Falls from 1969 through 1992. Previously she had lived in Haddam, Conn., for 48 years. Mrs Garrigus was a 1915 graduate of Bristol High School in Bristol, Conn, She was also a 1918 graduate of the Beechwood School in Jenkintown, Pa. She was a member of First Church of Christ Congregational in East Haddam and had attended the Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls. She is survived by one son, Norman A Garrigus of Attleboro, five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;one great-great-granddaughter; and one niece and one nephew. Burial at Mt.
