You are right, some came to New Madrid County, MO but left after the earthquake as far as I have been told. That is not my direct line. I descend from Wm. W. Wilburn VA> James Johnson Wilburn>Wm. W. Wilburn II>Silas Johnson Wilburn>and me, Mildred Wilburn Spencer. My great grand mother, Abigail Florence Murdock, married William Henson. He was her third husband and they had one child, Joe Henson born about 1908. She outlived four husbands. Abigail's first child, Martha Ann Snodgrass, was my grandmother.
Wellll, Where did your William Henson come from, where did he live?? I have a lot of William Hensons, on my tree, in fact the one who I am back to died in 1816 in Sumner Co., Tn. He is the first William on my tree so far, believe his father to have been from Stafford Co., Va. perhaps....I have a large database of Henson, I will check for yours if you have a place and time.....Jeanette.
