"Account of Sate of Estate of Charles Slaughter with John Slaughter executor, shows suited dated Dec 1835 of Richard DAVENPORT, Charles Davenport, Robert Tinsley, and life Eliza, late Eliza Ann Davenport as Plaintiffs against Robert L Wilburn and wife, William L Lambert and wife and Gabriel COBBS as defendants. Slaves belonging to late Ann Cobbs were sold and the heirs of Robert Slaughter desc. received payment"... 11 Apr 1836 6. This Slaughter/Marshall family with links to Chief Justice John Marshall, also connects to Aaron Marshall who witnessed will of Edward Wilburn of Surry NC 1806. Whew!
