Harvey Wilburn is son of Lewis Wilburn and Eliz Fitzpatrick Wilburn... I was recently surprised when I discovered via the internet that this was NOT the first Wilburn/McAdams kinship...And that there was a Wilburn McAdams b c 1795...and that this same McAdams line (some of them anyway) ended up in southern IN from NC...While other McAdams of this same family went to SC...So as always my work is cut out for me as I attempt to piece together some family ties... Now there is another example of connecting lines that seem to skip generations and then take up again. William Wilburn b. 1821 m Manerva Seals in Hancock Co TN??? In 1845??? I believe this is correct. Ronda, can you verify this? My database is not yet up and running... At any event, this posting that I am sending shows that there must have been other Seals and Wilburn kinships long before Wm Wilburn and Manerva Seals married. Anyone have any ideas? If anyone is interested in picking up some more clues re: the Solomon family and the origin of given name Solomon, let me know. I believe that these Seals and Wilburn families connect to the Solomons of Halifax, VA... Cheers, Vikkya@msn.com
