Lewis Wilburn m Mary Garland in 1804 in Johnston Co NC...This Lewis appears to be either the son or grandson of Edward Wilburn who died in Surry NC in 1806. Edward Wilburn of Surry NC also had a grandson named Edward Wilburn who married Nancy Overton. It appears to me from tracking these two families (Garland and Overton) on the internet, that these noted immigrants (Garland and Overton) in this posting are the ancestors of the Garland and Overton families who later married Wilburns...
