For those of you who read my last message and are for those of you who are interested in William Warren Wilburn, you might find this message of interest...And then you might not... I just wanted to point out that if you click on to this Rice/Senters/Tandy lines message, to keep in mind that Wilburns and Senters or Centers and also Brights were allied families...Yes, there was a Wilburn Senter... I have NO idea IF this is a clue for William Warren Wilburn researchers...but it might be. There has to be a reason why one of Wm Warren Wilburn's descendants was named Lihue TANDY Wilburn... Often, I find that I have the best leads and clues from given middle names...families that are more recent, I used to pass over as clueless, when I went seeking older lines. Boy! Was that dumb of me, or what???? Now I want to learn ALL middle names because they are great clues....AND sometimes, I can find lines right in too! Which is even better.. Cheers, Vikky .......vikkya@msn.com http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/pageload.cgi?tandy::rice::7418.html
Vikky Speaking of middle names . . . I don't know if you have your database back - but what connections do you have in North Carolina with the Phillips family? In 1902 one of my Hurley's married James Wilburn Phillips, who was born in 1881. The Hurleys were living in Ashe County at the time. Thanks for any info you have.
