Descendants of this same Ruggles/Plummer line also ended up in Carter KY and were related to Lewis Wilburn and his family. Lewis Wilburn also had a son named Nelson...I am certain that there are some clues here for those of you who have Wilburn ancestors in Allegany Co MD.
