There is local rumors that the spot is haunted by her ghost. The headstone reads: SARAH WILBURN JAN. 1, 1873 MAR. 9, 1888 AGE 15 YRS. 2 MOS. 6 DAYS Local rumor has it that if you lie down on her grave at exactly midnight, her spirit will hold you to the ground until 12:01. Probably just local kids making things up, but the place does put out an eerie vibe. SO... I was hoping to find out some more info on this girl. I tried looking her up on Ancestry.com, but found no record of her. I've never really tried this kind stuff so hopefully someone out there can do a better research on her than me.
