To tell you the truth I dont know anything about Hiram's life but I got a copy of an old, old letter that someone wrote and it said that Thomas Jefferson Wilburn(mygggrandfather) and his younger, half brother, Hiram, were brought to Ft. Smith, Ark. by Thomas' oldest brother Samuel Wilburn durring the Kansas Conflict. It stated that they had lived there with their older sister.Do you happen to know Hirams parents or when he was born? My gggrandfather was born in 1851 he was the youngest of eight I dont know when Hiram was born but the letter said he was younger. If this is the same Hiram, the way I had figured was if Hiram was a half brother you woulld think that the child would have the original fathers last name, what Iguess i am trying to say is that Thomas and Hiram may of had different mothers. Well gotta go for know but I'll haller at ya later. Happy Holidays!!!!!! Chris
