Good morning from San Diego! AND Now for our next morning exercise... I am trying to sort out the following CONNECTING families... Wilburn/Champ/Shumate/Holder/Hardin guys. (Hardin/Harding) Shumates arrived c 1703 and settled in Prince Wm Co VA, later Fauquier Co VA...Now all I need to do is fill in the blanks... Earliest Holder who was ancestor of Holders in Fauquier Co VA (same time frame as Edward S Wilburn, later of Surry NC) was b c 1703 and was married to Hardin...family name also Harding.... Some of these Holders later settled into Union SC and also some descendants settled into Barron Co KY. Does anyone have any of these surnames in their families? Please let me know. Many thanks.. Vikky
