Mary Lomax' mother was Temperance Bugg and she had a sister Temperance Lomax. The children that I have for Byrell and Mary who were born in Perry County, Tennessee are: John (1811) Samuel (1813) Josiah (1815) James (1817) Mary (1819) and Elizabeth (1821) Perhaps Elizabeth or Mary's middle name is Temperance? That would be my guess. Mary's mother and sister were named Temperance (Bugg and Lomax) so there is a family connection to that name. Could there be any records that would list a full name?
