Meinert, 72. former Branch cheese factory operator, died suddenly at Antigo late Thursday. Funeral services Were held this afternoon from the Congregational church In Antigo. Mr. Meinert was born in 1868 at Thiensville, Ozaukee county. His marriage to Ida U11rick took place December 2O. 1892 at Potter. He operated a cheese factory at Branch for 22 years. In 1911 he moved his family to Neva, near Antigo, purchasing a farm there. He was active on this farm, to which he added a fox ranch until the death of his wife In 1938. Since then he has made his home with his daughter Mrs. Emil Novak in Antigo. A spare time hobby of the deceased was making violins. Six children and I0 grandchildren survive. The children are Theodore Carl and Elmer, all Of Antigo; Mrs. Emil Novak, of Antigo: Mrs. Edward F. Just, of Cooperstown, and Mrs. Bernard McKinnon of Green Bay.
